Columbus, Ohio Fireworks - Red, White, and Boom!
Obviously one of the biggest displays within driving distance, and a staple of this Summer holiday season, this fireworks display is sure to please! This year Red, White, and Boom will take place on Monday, July 3. Fireworks begin at 10pm, and full details of the event can be found here: https://www.redwhiteandboom.org
Bexley, Ohio Fireworks
Tuesday, July 4 is the day to be in Bexley! With events taking place throughout the day, the fireworks will be the finale at 10pm from Capital University.
Delaware, Ohio Fireworks
Planning to stay North of the City this holiday weekend? Delaware is the perfect place to watch the Central Ohio Symphony and fireworks around 10pm on Tuesday, July 4.
Dublin, Ohio Fireworks
As always, Dublin will be celebrating big this Fourth of July! There are a few events to attend throughout the day, ending with an afternoon/evening of music and fun. The event on Tuesday, July 4 is too involved to summarize, so see details on their website. Fireworks will be let off at Dublin Coffman High School at 9:50pm.
Gahanna, Ohio Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks
Like usual, the Independence Day Celebration will last all evening beginning at 5:30pm. This event will be held on Monday, July 3. Grab a seat at or near the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course to watch the fireworks at 10pm. The parade is taking place the next day at 10:30am.
Granville, Ohio Fireworks
Fireworks in Granville this year will be held on Sunday, July 2 at Wildwood Park at 10pm. There is an entire schedule of events spanning July 1-4, so be sure to check out this link for all of the details!
Grove City, Ohio Fireworks
This display South of Columbus will happen at Murfin Fields on Tuesday, July 4 at 9:45pm. Guests will not be able to sit at the launch site, so you could consider parking at the high school and Church of the Nazarene. More info can be found here.
Heath Fireworks
Heath will host it's Star Spangled Celebration on Sunday, July 2 beginning at 5pm with fireworks taking place at 10pm.
Hilliard, Ohio Fireworks and Freedom Festival
This year the Hilliard fireworks will once again follow a whole event (The Freedom Festival) that includes food trucks, live music, swimming, and a kid zone. Fireworks begin at dusk on Saturday, July 1. More information can be found here.
Johnstown, Ohio Fireworks
The Johnstown fireworks will be held this year on Sunday, July 2 at dusk following a full evening of events beginning at 5. You can view these best from Johnnies Stadium and the high school parking lot. More details can be found here.
Obetz Fireworks
This is a small city with a big display that will begin at 10pm on Monday, July 3. Not many other places in Central Ohio will compete with Red, White, and Boom for July 3, but Obetz will do it. Avoid the downtown crowds and join in the fun beginning at 6pm. Enjoy an evening of food, games, and music.
New Albany, Ohio Fireworks
On Tuesday, July 4, New Albany will be holding their annual Independence Day celebrations to include a parade, run, and of course the big festival near New Albany Middle School. Plan for a ton of fun including music, bounce houses, food trucks, and more! Fireworks begin at dusk.
Newark, Ohio Fireworks
This is one of our favorite fireworks displays in Central Ohio, as the fireworks are set off to music at the Martha Grace Amphitheater. Parking is free, and it has a small town feel if you would prefer that on the night of the biggest fireworks display in the area. That's right, these will also take place at dusk on Monday, July 3. Events begin at 6pm.
Pickerington, Ohio Fireworks
The fireworks will be launched from Pickerington High School Central at 10pm on Monday, July 3. The parade will take place the next morning, and you can follow this page for updates.
Powell, Ohio Fireworks
To really experience the fun in Powell, you have to attend the annual 2-day Powell Festival. In 2023, the festival is taking place on Friday, June 23 5:00pm-9:30pm and Saturday, June 24 all day beginning at 10am. This fun family-friendly event includes activities for the kids, food trucks, DORA, and live music including some popular bands from the late 90s. Fireworks begin at 10pm on Saturday, June 24.
Reynoldsburg, Ohio Fireworks
If you are out East on the 4th, be sure to check out the full celebration with events taking place on Monday, July 3 at 6 at Civic Park. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:45pm.
Sunbury, Ohio Fireworks
Sunbury, Ohio has one of the most fun Independence Day celebrations! Head to the Square on Tuesday, July 4 for an Arts & Crafts Fair, Hot Dog Eating Contest, and Kid Zone. The parade begins at 10 at the High School. The evening festival will end with fireworks at 10pm at the High School.
Upper Arlington, Ohio Fireworks
Celebrate the Fourth with Upper Arlington residents starting with a morning parade and an evening party in the park at 5! Like many other locations, you will find live music, food trucks, and more with fireworks beginning at 10pm at Northam Park. Events take place on Tuesday, July 4.
Westerville, Ohio Fireworks
In line with other cities, Westerville will be hosting a variety of Independence Day events that follow this year's theme 'Red, White and Blue and Liberty Too". Tuesday, July 4 begins with a run and morning parade, and ends with the annual Concert Series and Food Truck Festival beginning at 5pm. Fireworks will cap the night at 10pm. While the Sports Complex is the recommended viewing, there is additional parking and moderate viewing in many businesses in the surrounding area as well. The fireworks are launched from Heritage Park which will not be open to the public.
West Jefferson, Ohio Fireworks
Events this year in West Jefferson will be held on South Center St. and Pearl St. These include 3 days of fun July 2- 4 with rides, food, music, and a parade. Fireworks will happen on Tuesday, July 4 at 10pm with a rain date of Saturday, July 8.
Worthington, Ohio Fireworks
Finally, Tuesday, July 4 will be an evening to remember in Worthington, Ohio as well. The Fourth of July celebrations in Worthington begin with a picnic at Thomas Worthington High School at 5pm and end with fireworks at 10pm. Admission is free and entertainment such as music, inflatables, food, and more will be available.
